Access to safe drinking water is the proportion of people using improved drinking
water sources: household
connection; public standpipe; borehole; protected dug well; protected spring;
rainwater.
Drinking water is water used for domestic purposes, drinking, cooking and personal
hygiene.
Access to drinking water means that the source is less than 1 kilo- meter away from
its place of use and that it is possible to reliably obtain at least 20 liters per
member of a household per day.
Our organization has envisioned a society which respects the ‘rights of children’
such a society will ensure a safe and secure.
childhood with opportunity for education and development for every child.
We are planning to provide training on self-employment and to create a quality
educational setup for rural youths and girls so as to bring them to the
mainstream.
We also planning to initiate several programs for child education and occupational
training as well as to provide healthcare facilities.
